OVERVIEW
The Intramural Activities Building (IMA) is at the center of the beautiful athletic complex at the University of Washington. The facility is home to five main gyms among many other athletic facilities that are used for Intramural and club sports, fitness, and recreation. We’re excited to host the Revolution Volleyball Camps at University of Washington. Join us and improve your volleyball skills this summer!
Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!
Camp Director
Coach Shay Gardner is the Assistant Director at Northwest Juniors Volleyball Club and the Head Coach of the 17 UA Blue team. Gardner has over 10 years of Volleyball coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, and club levels.
Coach Gardner was an Assistant Coach at Dallas Christian College when they won their first NCAA DII Southwest Region Championship. She has also coached at 360 Volleyball Club and has led national club teams to numerous tournament titles and awards. Her teams have been national runner-up on two occasions and several of her players have gone on to compete collegiately or played overseas.
Gardner played Volleyball at Mansfield High School in Mansfield, TX. She continued her playing career at Rust College in Holly Springs, MS where she was named Conference Tournament Freshman MVP. Gardner has competed in the Adult USAV Championships in Dallas, TX twice. She continues to stay active in a few local leagues and tournaments in the Seattle area.
Coach Gardner is USAV, Safe Sport, and CPR Certified. She is also Positive Coaching Alliance trained and holds her USAV Cap I/II Certifications.
Coach Gardner is excited to bring her energy and experience to the Revolution Volleyball Camps.
What to Expect
At Revolution Volleyball Camps you’ll receive individualized volleyball training through a superior curriculum regardless your age or ability level. We want young volleyball players to improve in every aspect of their game; our camps put a focus on individual skill development while incorporating drills and matches to emphasize teamwork.
Features of our volleyball staff include: Low camper-to-coach ratios; Groups based off of age & ability level; Fun, energetic, & experienced staff.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Overnight Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday. Campers should be picked up at 4PM Wednesday.
Extended Day Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 8:30PM Sunday-Tuesday and at 4PM Wednesday. (Lunch and dinner are included)
Make sure campers bring all necessary volleyball equipment, a refillable water bottle, & snack.

What to Bring to Camp
Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians, but they are not allowed on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All personal items are the responsibility of each camper. Revolution Volleyball and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
