The Intramural Activities Building (IMA) is at the center of the beautiful athletic complex at the University of Washington. The facility is home to five main gyms among many other athletic facilities that are used for Intramural and club sports, fitness, and recreation. We’re excited to host the Revolution Volleyball Camps at University of Washington. Join us and improve your volleyball skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Revolution Volleyball Camp is open to kids & teens ages 5 to 18.

Hannah LordHead Beach Volleyball Coach at Northwest University

Coach Hannah Lord is the Head Beach Volleyball Coach at Northwest University, the first in her alma mater’s history.  

In her four years competing in indoor volleyball at Northwest University, Lord averaged 1.89 kills for her career and more than 2.7 kills in her final two seasons.  In her Freshman season, her team qualified and competed in the NAIA Volleyball National Championships in Sioux City, IA.  Lord earned Academic All-Conference honors each year and was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.  She also maintained a 4.0 GPA while earning her Masters Degree in Business Administration.    

In high school, Lord served as team captain, was named First-Team All-League.  She also broke two school records at Heritage High School, including kills per game and total kills in a season.

Coach Lord has coached at several volleyball camps and clubs and has directed multiple tournaments.  Lord is also a certified volleyball referee.  Coach Lord is excited to share her knowledge and love of the game at the Revolution Volleyball Camps!

As a high school volleyball athlete, Treva was a 4-time varsity player, 3-time State Champion, 2-time All-State and All-Area Team, and a “Player of the Year.”  After high school, she continued her love for the game at the College of Southern Idaho, going on to win a National Championship before finishing her playing career at Boise State University.  

Coach McUne holds numerous coaching certifications from such organization as the USAV Impact, USAV Safe Sport, and AAU Positive Coaching Alliance. She continues to be active in volleyball coaching for a variety of colleges and national teams, and has directed volleyball summer camps for 20+ years.

Each camper will:

  • Develop their technical skills & tactical knowledge
  • Participate in camp games with a chance to win prizes
  • Compete amongst their peers in small games & camp matches
  • Be given the opportunity to work with college &/or high school coaches & college players all week long
  • Receive a Revolution Volleyball Camp T-Shirt
  • …and most importantly: HAVE FUN!

Volleyball Typical Daily Schedule

7:00AM- Wake Up
7:30AM- Breakfast
8:45AM- Extended Day and Day Campers Arrive
9:00AM- Warm Up/Stretch
9:30AM- Technical Skill Development
11:00AM- Small-Sided Games and Situational Scrimmages
12:00PM- Lunch
1:30PM- Tactical Skill Development
3:00PM- Team-Based Games and Scrimmages
5:00PM- Dinner
6:30PM- Position-Specific Training and Serving or Evening Activity
8:30PM- Extended Day Campers Depart
8:30PM- Dorm Games,Evening Meeting, Social Time for Overnight Campers
10:30PM- Lights out

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians, but they are not allowed on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All personal items are the responsibility of each camper. Revolution Volleyball and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.

Overnight Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday. Campers should be picked up at 4PM Wednesday.

Extended Day Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 9PM Sunday-Tuesday and at 4PM Wednesday. (Lunch and dinner are included)

Make sure campers bring all necessary volleyball equipment, a refillable water bottle, & snack.
