OVERVIEW

The Intramural Activities Building (IMA) is at the center of the beautiful athletic complex at the University of Washington. The facility is home to five main gyms among many other athletic facilities that are used for Intramural and club sports, fitness, and recreation. We’re excited to host the Revolution Volleyball Camps at University of Washington. Join us and improve your volleyball skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Session 1: Camp Director

Tim Boonstra
Tim BoonstraHead Girls Volleyball Coach at Mount Vernon Christian

Coach Tim Boonstra is the Head Girls Volleyball Coach at Mount Vernon Christian.

Coach Boonstra has led his program to significant post-season success, including a Bi-district Championship and multiple State Championship qualifications. With extensive head coaching experience, including a successful tenure at Liberty Bell High School where he earned league titles, Coach Boonstra has a proven track record of developing elite talent and numerous All-League honorees. He has built his coaching philosophy on the principle that “clear is kind,” prioritizing absolute clarity regarding player roles and technical skills to ensure corrections are detailed and constructive. This disciplined approach is balanced by a high-energy personality; Coach Boonstra brings an intense emotional spark to the gym, believing a coach’s energy is a primary driver of a team’s competitive spirit and focus.

Boonstra rooted his expertise as a varsity athlete at Quinte Christian High School. Having played through a foundational era for the program, Boonstra developed a deep appreciation for the hard work and discipline required to build a winning culture from the ground up.

Coach Boonstra is excited to bring his energy and love of the game to the Revolution Volleyball Camps.

CAMP REVIEWS

Softball Camps Reviews
I really love how Revolution camps really spend the time to emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship in the game. Through a combination of drills, games, and team-building activities, my child not only improved their volleyball skills but also learned important life lessons that will be helpful to them beyond the court.
