OVERVIEW

The Ambler Student Recreation Center is a 98,000 square foot facility on the beautiful University of Kansas campus that features volleyball, basketball, and racquetball courts, weight rooms, a rock climbing wall, and more. We’re excited to host the Revolution Volleyball Camps at University of Kansas. Join us and improve your volleyball skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Coach Jessica Biegert is the Head Volleyball Coach at Kansas Wesleyan University.  

Coach Biegert has led the Coyotes to much success including KCAC Regular Season Championships, Tournament Championships, and NAIA Championship appearances.  Each year, Coach Biegert has helped multiple players earn All-KCAC, Academic All-KCAC, and Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors. 

Prior to KWU, Coach Biegert was the Head Volleyball Coach at McPherson College where she led her team to Kansas Conference’s Regular Season Championship with an undefeated 12-0 record and an appearance in the KCAC Championship Game.  She was named the conference’s Coach of the Year and the AVCA West Central Coach of the Year.  

Her coaching experience also includes stints at Hesston College, University of Nebraska – Kearney, and Friends University.  

Coach Biegert is excited to share her knowledge and experience at the Revolution Volleyball Camps.

What to Expect

At Revolution Volleyball Camps you’ll receive individualized volleyball training through a superior curriculum regardless your age or ability level. We want young volleyball players to improve in every aspect of their game; our camps put a focus on individual skill development while incorporating drills and matches to emphasize teamwork.

Features of our volleyball staff include: Low camper-to-coach ratios; Groups based off of age & ability level; Fun, energetic, & experienced staff.

Each camper will:

  • Compete amongst their peers in small games & camp matches
  • Be given the opportunity to work with college &/or high school coaches & college players all week long

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Overnight Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday. Campers should be picked up at 4PM Wednesday.

Extended Day Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 8:30PM Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and at 4PM Wednesday. (Lunch and dinner are included)

Make sure campers bring all necessary volleyball equipment (knee pads, shoes, etc.), and a refillable water bottle.

*Evening Activities at previous camps include beach volleyball, icebreakers, bowling, field games, talent show, movie/game night, campus tours, and team-building activities

What to Bring to Camp

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians, but they are not allowed on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All personal items are the responsibility of each camper. Revolution Volleyball and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
