The Robert H. Ewalt Student Recreation Center, located on the beautiful Texas Tech University campus, is one fo the largest campus recreation facilities in the country. The 242,000 square feet facility is home to seven basketball/volleyball courts among many other athletic facilities that are used for Intramural and club sports, fitness, and recreation. We’re excited to host the Revolution Volleyball Camps at Texas Tech University. Join us and improve your volleyball skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Kandice WilliamsHead Coach at Next Level Volleyball

Coach Williams, better known as Coach K, is in her fourth year as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Coronado High School and is a Head Coach at Next Level Volleyball. She has also directed and coached volleyball camps and clinics.

Coach K has over 18 years of coaching experience. Before Coronado, she was the Head Volleyball and Basketball coach at West Texas High School where she led both teams to the playoffs. Coach K has a proven track record of building athletic programs in several school districts all over Texas. In addition to volleyball, she has coached basketball, track, and cross country.

Both of her children are student-athletes. Tyler graduated from Coronado and is on the Men’s Basketball team at Hardin-Simmons University. Meanwhile, Tyra plays Varsity Volleyball at Coronado High School.

Coach Williams is excited to bring her energy and experience to the Revolution Volleyball Camps.

Each camper will:

  • Develop their technical skills & tactical knowledge
  • Participate in camp games with a chance to win prizes
  • Compete amongst their peers in small games & camp matches
  • Be given the opportunity to work with college &/or high school coaches & college players all week long
  • Receive a Revolution Volleyball Camp T-Shirt
  • …and most importantly: HAVE FUN!

Volleyball Typical Daily Schedule

7:00AM- Wake Up
7:30AM- Breakfast
8:45AM- Extended Day and Day Campers Arrive
9:00AM- Warm Up/Stretch
9:30AM- Technical Skill Development
11:00AM- Small-Sided Games and Situational Scrimmages
12:00PM- Lunch
1:30PM- Tactical Skill Development
3:00PM- Team-Based Games and Scrimmages
5:00PM- Dinner
6:30PM- Position-Specific Training and Serving or Evening Activity
8:30PM- Extended Day Campers Depart
8:30PM- Dorm Games,Evening Meeting, Social Time for Overnight Campers
10:30PM- Lights out

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians, but they are not allowed on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All personal items are the responsibility of each camper. Revolution Volleyball and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.

Overnight Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday. Campers should be picked up at 4PM Wednesday.

Extended Day Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 8:30PM Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and at 4PM Wednesday. (Lunch and dinner are included)

Make sure campers bring all necessary volleyball equipment (knee pads, shoes, etc.), and a refillable water bottle.
