OVERVIEW
The NC State Wellness and Recreation Center and Carmichael Gym features 430,000 square feet of recreation, fitness, and wellness spaces. We’re excited to host the Revolution Volleyball Camps at North Carolina State University. Join us and improve your volleyball skills this summer!
Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!
Camp Director
Coach Chase Alfman is the Varsity Boys Volleyball Coach at Carolina Forest High School.
In his first two years, Coach Alfman led his team to an overall record of 55-5-4, two 5A Region Championships, two Lower State Championships, and two State Championship Game appearances. Coach Alfman was the first Boys’ Volleyball coach in South Carolina to tally a 30-win season, finishing the year 33-5-4. Coach Alfman was named South Carolina 5A Region Coach of the Year and is proud that many of his student-athletes have signed offers to compete collegiately.
Coach Alfman’s coaching career started at Beaufort High School coaching Girls Volleyball. He has also coached the Coast United 16 Boys’ National Team where his team has captured gold medals at several tournaments across the Carolinas and will be competing at Nationals this year.
Alfman played Club Volleyball at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is still actively involved with Indoor, Beach, and Grass Volleyball.
Coach Alfman is excited to bring his energy and experience to the Revolution Volleyball Camps.
What to Expect
At Revolution Volleyball Camps you’ll receive individualized volleyball training through a superior curriculum regardless your age or ability level. We want young volleyball players to improve in every aspect of their game; our camps put a focus on individual skill development while incorporating drills and matches to emphasize teamwork.
Features of our volleyball staff include: Low camper-to-coach ratios; Groups based off of age & ability level; Fun, energetic, & experienced staff.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Overnight Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday. Campers should be picked up at 4PM Wednesday.
Extended Day Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 8:30PM Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and at 4PM Wednesday. (Lunch and dinner are included)
Make sure campers bring all necessary volleyball equipment (knee pads, shoes, etc.), and a refillable water bottle.

What to Bring to Camp
Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians, but they are not allowed on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All personal items are the responsibility of each camper. Revolution Volleyball and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
