OVERVIEW
Belk Gymnasium is a 100,000 square foot complex on the beautiful UNC Charlotte campus. It features a variety of athletic facilities and amenities that are used for Intramural Sports, fitness, and recreation. We’re excited to host the Revolution Volleyball Camps at UNC Charlotte. Join us and have fun while improving your volleyball skills this summer!
Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!
Camp Director
Coach Naya Gros is a professional middle blocker with over 15 years of elite volleyball experience. She also leads the program at United Faith Christian Academy. Coach Gros has coached at various camps and clinics throughout the country. Gros is known for her ability to translate professional-level concepts into direct, clear, and concise instruction that athletes of all ages can immediately apply to their game.
As a coach, Gros prides herself on maintaining high standards and a strong attention to detail. Drawing from her extensive background in top-tier programs, she focuses on building a disciplined culture that fosters both confidence and growth. She excels at communicating complex positional strategies while creating an environment where players are encouraged to reach their full potential on and off the court.
Gros’s playing career is highlighted by five years of standout Division I competition. She was a four-year starter at Michigan State University, where she consistently led both her team and the conference in blocks per set, before completing her graduate season at the University of Minnesota. While at Minnesota, she helped lead the Gophers to an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance and a top-10 national finish. Transitioning to the professional ranks, the 6’3” New Orleans native has competed internationally for premier clubs in Puerto Rico, Romania, and Switzerland.
Coach Gros is excited to share her high volleyball IQ and professional playing experience at the Revolution Volleyball Camps.
