OVERVIEW

Dixon Recreation Center is located next to Student Legacy Park at Oregon State University. The facility is home to six volleyball courts among many other athletic facilities that are used for Intramural and club sports, fitness, and recreation. We’re excited to host the Revolution Volleyball Camps at Oregon State University. Join us and have fun while improving your volleyball skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Camp Director

Mariah Silvonen
Mariah SilvonenHead Varisty Coach at Eddyville Charter School & Director of East County Volleyball Club

Coach Mariah Silvonen is the Head Coach at Eddyville Charter School and the Director of East County Volleyball Club. In these roles, Coach Silvonen manages both a varsity high school program and a club founded specifically to provide volleyball opportunities to athletes in rural and coastal communities. Mariah’s professional focus is on bridging the gap for players who face geographic or financial barriers, ensuring that every student-athlete has a platform to develop their skills regardless of their circumstances.

Coach Silvonen brings 15 years of coaching experience to the court, defined by a “build-from-scratch” mentality. After starting in middle school and JV coaching, Coach Silvonen took over an Eddyville program and expanded the roster from six to 17 athletes. This leadership transformed the team’s culture, leading the program from a single-win season to the first round of the state playoffs. Coach Silvonen believes that elite coaching is rooted in over-communication and the ability to foster strong, supportive relationships between coaches, players, and parents.

Silvonen’s passion for the game was ignited during her time as a varsity player at Taft High School. Competing at the varsity level, she gained invaluable experience in high-stakes postseason play. Her background allows her to connect authentically with her players, as she understands that volleyball is a powerful tool for self-discovery and achieving ambitious goals through collective hard work.

Coach Silvonen is excited to share her knowledge and experience at the Revolution Volleyball Camps.

CAMP REVIEWS

Softball Camps Reviews
I really love how Revolution camps really spend the time to emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship in the game. Through a combination of drills, games, and team-building activities, my child not only improved their volleyball skills but also learned important life lessons that will be helpful to them beyond the court.

Take it from me when I say I love Revolution camps. I’ve been signing my kids up for their camps for years and the coaches are just outstanding. They really take the time to work on areas of improvement through one-on-one training with the campers!
